In short, the central heat pump is an electrical device that used for heating and air conditioning a dwelling.
It can consume up to three times less energy than electric baseboard heaters for heating during the cold season. It’s therefore an excellent way to reduce your electricity bill. And during the hot season, it cools you down as effectively as an air conditioner.
A heat pump does not produce heat: it moves it. This is why it consumes less energy than other heating systems.
