Terms of Use | By choosing Confort MH for your project, you agree to the following conditions:
It is the client's responsibility to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and any condominium association rules regarding the installation of an air conditioner and/or heat pump. Furthermore, in the case of a condominium, it is the client's duty to coordinate the work according to the condominium's rules to avoid any additional charges.
Please note that we do not do any finishing work such as drywall, plaster, painting, stucco, etc.
Also, please note that Confort MH is not the government. We can assist you with the grant or loan application process, but we are not responsible for obtaining the grants. Be sure to comply with the terms and conditions of each grant.
All property owners must be present on site during the work. Confort MH is committed to carrying out all work in strict compliance with the standards of the Quebec Construction Code and the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). However, it is the owners' responsibility to be present to indicate their specific preferences regarding the installation or any desired adjustments.
The preferences expressed by the owners must, however, comply with the standards of the Quebec Construction Code and the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ), as well as the terms and elements included in the work estimate they previously accepted. Any modification or additional request outside the scope of this estimate may result in additional charges.
If one or more owners are not present during the installation, or if no preference has been specified by the owner(s), our technicians will proceed with the installation according to their best professional judgment, respecting current standards and industry best practices. No modifications can be made after the installation is complete without additional charges.
Please note that in the event of a last-minute cancellation or schedule change (7 days prior to the installation date), Confort MH reserves the right to charge a fee equivalent to 15% of the invoice. This measure aims to cover any potential financial losses incurred due to these changes. To avoid this fee, please notify us of any cancellation or change at least 7 days before the installation date.
Payment is due on the day of installation. A late payment fee of 10% of the contract value may apply for a delay of 30 days + 1.6% per additional month.
